What does it really mean when someone tell you to keep a Dream Journal?? Have you ever heard the term before? Firstly ask yourself what are Dreams any way? Well let me tell you – Dreams are reality waiting for you to go achieve… they are the low lying fruits of your future success!! So What does keeping a Dream Journal mean? Basically its like keeping a Diary / Log or even a Blog of dreams… Kind of like a Facebook timeline… you may choose to blog about your dream and how and what are you doing in order to achieve your dream… Here is a tip… the bigger your dreams are .. the more you need to keep account of them and take stock of your dream to see how far have you progressed or have you just fall behind because of an obstacle or because you need to acquire certain new skill sets or knowledge?

Keeping a Dream Diary is one of the most important thing.. One example of a Dream Journal I can think of is a New Year's resolution… Lets face it how many of us actually make one?? If you don't have one.. how can you expect your year to be smooth sailing or even better than last year… Will you like mos others always end up hoping from one opportunity to the next or even … looking for the next shiny object syndrome? Will you end up joining every MLM there is or go listen to timeshare companies… just because “my friend is doing it too”? Where is your focus? Did you write down your dream plan in your dream journal? Do you even have a dream journal or diary in the first place?? Others may find writing a dream diary or journal very troublesome… If you cannot overcome this simple inconvenience.. how can you achieve big things later on?? Please give some serious thought on this…

What is a Dream Journal then?

A Dream Journal is simply a space where you log in your future life goals… the things you want to achieve and the things that you have already achieve… Keeping a Dream Journal regularly helps you be accountable to your self … and if your dream journal is exposed to public like a wordpress blog or website then more so you become accountable to your audience.. or followers .. and believe me… your audience want to see you succeed. Keeping a Dream Journal regularly prevents laziness from setting in… being lazy is the number 1 killer of dreams… when you start logging your dreams regularly, you start to be accountable to yourself and your audience and also you will realise that your dream becomes one step closer to becoming real…

Make time for your dream diary – Keep a Dream Journal What is the best time for you to sit down and pen or type out your Dream Journal? Find a time that works for you then.. different people feel most relax at different times… Some might have a full time job and find that the bus travelling journey to work is the most inspirational time to log their dream plans.. and also review existing dream goals and see how they fair… its like you try to take a self assessment test of yourself everyday..
